Abstract Delinquent youths often do not receive the opportunity to be mentored. This is especially true for who have committed serious law violations or are detained multiple violations. In United States, with most offenses detention, rehabilitation, treatment centers. Since 2011, Juvenile Reentry Mentoring Project (JRMP) has matched mentors in Nebraska Detention, and Treatment Facilities. The Youth Rehabilitation, Centers (YRTCs), specifically, highest level of needs exhausted all other programs available community. From 2011 through February 2020, JRMP developed as an evidence informed model mentoring juveniles need onset COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately impacted detention centers, such adapted continue meet existing emerging youths. aim this article report on evidence-based development adaptations that were necessary it operate during COVID-19. We close recommendations lessons learned from ways can resist a return status quo.
